A product of considerable importance in the company's production, mainly in the winter period. Two varieties are produced and processed, Trocadero and Gentilina Verde (Curly lettuce), each also produced in the organic variety.
With the same quality characteristics, preference is given to products that are particularly resistant to bremia lactucae (more commonly known as downy mildew), which is the main fungal disease that attacks this species. The use of varieties that are resistant to the fungus makes it possible to considerably reduce anti-downy mildew treatments and to obtain a product with a residue of phytopharmaceuticals well below the limits allowed both by current legislation and by the regulations and production rules of the client companies.
Currently the quantity produced is around 50 hectares.
